The Check Mate waistcoat is clearly Asian-inspired with a subtle European twist—characteristic of Jo.S. It is made from unique checkered corduroy by Brunello, combined with raw denim, and finished with a perfectly matched viscose lining. The buttons add a slightly retro feel.

It has a simple, clean form inspired by classic Chinese cuts, but refined with contemporary, minimalist tailoring. It functions as a light insulating layer, but above all, it is a strong styling element.

You can wear it over a shirt, a sweater, or directly on the body—as a standalone piece. Available in two sizes, designed to fit various body shapes and layers.
