The fabric comes from Balenciaga's archives. It is a unique coat-weight blend of wool and cotton, which gives the garment nobility and ideal structure.

Its colour is not obvious. The warp and weft are made of different yarns, both in composition and colour. As a result, the fabric interacts with light – from cool to warmer shades of Khaki Grey, subtly changing its character in motion.

The monochromatic, oversized trench is inspired by traditional Japanese samue, originally worn by Zen monks as workwear. Like its predecessor, it delights with its simplicity and functionality.

It has a loose fit with wide, straight sleeves that can easily accommodate kimono sleeves. Straps on the cuffs allow for adjustment. Additionally, it features a perfectly matched lining, epaulettes, a beautifully topstitched collar, a belt, and practical pockets. All in a unique shade of Khaki Grey.

This year's edition includes a separate hood, which can be freely combined not only with the trench coat but also with other outfits.
