Description

The Prince of Wales Kimono was created from archival fabric by Tom Ford. This high-quality wool has a very smooth, almost silky feel, and drapes beautifully on the silhouette. The classic Prince of Wales pattern in shades of gray with a hint of indigo blue creates a subtle, deep fabric texture. It is one of the most elegant patterns in tailoring history, here translated into a modern, relaxed kimono form.

The interior is finished with a carefully selected deep indigo lining that highlights the fabric's color scheme.

The new cut features a higher stand-up collar and wide, yet straight sleeves, which give the silhouette a calm, modern line. The kimono comes with a belt made of the same fabric, finished with a silver adjuster.

Prince of Wales is a combination of tailoring craftsmanship, simplicity of form, and noble fabric. The model was created in a very limited edition.

Jo.S Vision

Jo.S is an alternative to mass production and repetitiveness. We sew ethically and locally, using fabrics sourced from the archives of the biggest fashion houses – this ensures that each item is limited edition, refined, and made from material that is difficult to acquire a second time.

We sew locally in small family-run sewing workshops, in short series and with respect for the work of experts. We use archival fabrics from the biggest fashion houses, creating an ethical and conscious essence of slow fashion.
