Description

LIMITED edition product

The Matsu kimono is made from the highest quality wool sourced from the archives of a renowned Spanish fashion house. The fabric features a stunning gradient weave, transitioning from a soft off-white to a rich pine needle green. This unique colour scheme is not a result of dyeing, but of carefully considered spinning, which gives the material natural depth and subtlety.

The wool is incredibly soft, light, and warm, pleasant to the skin – one of those non-itchy types that embrace rather than irritate. The kimono was designed without a lining to avoid stiffening the noble fabric and to fully preserve its natural drape and lightness.

The new cut features a higher stand-up collar and wide, yet straight sleeves, which give the silhouette a serene, contemporary line. The kimono comes with an eco-leather belt that subtly accentuates its character without disrupting the beauty of the material.

Matsu is a combination of craftsmanship, simplicity, and sophisticated colour in a very limited edition.

Jo.S Vision

Jo.S is an alternative to mass production and repetitiveness. We sew ethically and locally, using fabrics sourced from the archives of the biggest fashion houses – this ensures that each item is limited edition, refined, and made from material that is difficult to acquire a second time.

We sew locally in small family-run sewing workshops, in short series and with respect for the work of experts. We use archival fabrics from the biggest fashion houses, creating an ethical and conscious essence of slow fashion.
