Description

Garu is a short haori with a simple, timeless cut (this time with full-length sleeves), tied with two drawstrings that allow it to be worn in many ways.

Made from exceptional "summer" wool from Vitale Barberis Canonico - one of the oldest and most respected Italian weaving mills, operating continuously since 1663 in the Piedmont region. Their fabrics are renowned for their quality, lightness, and perfect finish.

The fabric feels like silk, is springy and ideal even for the most sensitive skin.

This is a basic kimono that can completely transform an outfit – with just one movement.

Why should you be here?

Jo.S Mission

We create clothes for women who don't want to look like everyone else. Our short runs, meticulous designs, and exquisite fabrics allow you to dress consciously – with character, without compromise.

Jo.S Vision

Jo.S is an alternative to mass production and repetitiveness. We sew ethically and locally, using fabrics sourced from the archives of the biggest fashion houses – this ensures that each item is limited edition, refined, and made from material that is difficult to acquire a second time.

We sew locally in small family-run sewing workshops, in short series and with respect for the work of experts. We use archival fabrics from the biggest fashion houses, creating an ethical and conscious essence of slow fashion.
