Kevlar is a new, limited-edition vest crafted from the same exceptional 0.8 mm Italian goat nappa leather we used for the Sojo Smart. The leather is incredibly soft and pleasant to the touch, yet retains enough structure for the vest to drape beautifully on the silhouette.
The vest is a pull-on style. Its form is simple and clean, but the rounded hem adds a softer line. The inspiration for the distinctive front was drawn from jabots and decorative tuxedo shirt fronts, treated here in a completely minimalist way.
Kevlar has been designed to be worn in many ways. It looks great over a shirt, blouse, or turtleneck, but works just as well worn directly on the skin.
A new element is the raw-finished shoulder padding. They are not additionally rounded or smoothed out. Their slightly raw form adds character to the vest and emphasizes its stronger, architectural line.
On the sides, there are long straps with buckles, which allow you to freely adjust the width of the vest to fit your silhouette and preferred way of wearing it.
Each vest comes with a unique macramé shoulder piece, made specially for Jo.S by Anita, a wonderful Polish artist. The shoulder piece can be easily detached and used in other outfits as well. It adds a bit more character to any look. It is attached at the neck with two strings, allowing you to adjust its positioning.
Kevlar was created in a very small batch to celebrate Jo.S's 5th anniversary.

We sew locally in small family-run sewing workshops, in short series and with respect for the work of experts. We use archival fabrics from the biggest fashion houses, creating an ethical and conscious essence of slow fashion.
