Description

Kevlar is a waistcoat that we informally call "armor" due to its short, simple form inspired by protective layers. Minimalist yet distinctive and, contrary to appearances, soft!

Made from a unique fabric: densely embroidered silk shantung.

The form remains completely open at the sides, allowing for many ways of tying it: loosely, closer to the body, or completely freely, without tying. It's an element that allows you to build your silhouette on your own terms.

This is my answer to summer layers: simple, airy, but with character. It can be worn over a shirt, a T-shirt, or directly on the body.

It acts as a counterpoint, breaking up classic stylings without losing its lightness.

Pictured with Kevlar Zahara and Haka Hime, and with Rumi trousers.

Why should you be here?

Jo.S Mission

We create clothes for women who don't want to look like everyone else. Our short runs, meticulous designs, and exquisite fabrics allow you to dress consciously – with character, without compromise.

Jo.S Vision

Jo.S is an alternative to mass production and repetitiveness. We sew ethically and locally, using fabrics sourced from the archives of the biggest fashion houses – this ensures that each item is limited edition, refined, and made from material that is difficult to acquire a second time.

We sew locally in small family-run sewing workshops, in short series and with respect for the work of experts. We use archival fabrics from the biggest fashion houses, creating an ethical and conscious essence of slow fashion.
