Description

A waistcoat inspired by the form of a samurai katana – a symbol of simplicity, precision, and discipline. Crafted from archival silk by the fashion house Oscar de la Renta, it combines a distinctive, architectural form with the lightness and subtlety of natural fabric.

The print depicting orchids resembles illustrations from old botanical atlases. Its gently faded color palette gives it a noble, timeless character and offers a contemporary take on the floral motif.

The waistcoat ties loosely at the front, without a belt. The wide facing allows it to be worn both open and freely tied.

Why should you be here?

Jo.S Mission

We create clothes for women who don't want to look like everyone else. Our short runs, meticulous designs, and exquisite fabrics allow you to dress consciously – with character, without compromise.

Jo.S Vision

Jo.S is an alternative to mass production and repetitiveness. We sew ethically and locally, using fabrics sourced from the archives of the biggest fashion houses – this ensures that each item is limited edition, refined, and made from material that is difficult to acquire a second time.

We sew locally in small family-run sewing workshops, in short series and with respect for the work of experts. We use archival fabrics from the biggest fashion houses, creating an ethical and conscious essence of slow fashion.
