The traditional form of Japanese hakama in an artistic interpretation.
This model balances on the border of fashion and craftsmanship, where construction, detail, and visual effect play as important a role as functionality.
The trousers are made from the highest quality silk organza from Ricceri: they hold their shape wonderfully, and the transparent fabric in a rich turquoise color moves beautifully.
Each pair was created individually and required exceptional precision. The transparent fabric reveals everything. Every seam, every finish, and every detail of the construction is visible, which is why sewing required experience, patience, and the utmost care.
How to Hakama
The sides of the trousers feature deep slits that divide the upper construction into front and back parts. Both are equipped with long ties that allow the model to be wrapped around the waist and adjusted for fit.
The front part is tied around the waist first, then the back part is placed over it and tied at the front. This construction allows the trousers to be fitted to the figure and the waist circumference to be freely adjusted.
The model comfortably fits sizes from 34 to 42.

Why should you be here?
Jo.S Mission
We create clothes for women who don't want to look like everyone else. Our short runs, meticulous designs, and exquisite fabrics allow you to dress consciously – with character, without compromise.
Jo.S Vision
Jo.S is an alternative to mass production and repetitiveness. We sew ethically and locally, using fabrics sourced from the archives of the biggest fashion houses – this ensures that each item is limited edition, refined, and made from material that is difficult to acquire a second time.
We sew locally in small family-run sewing workshops, in short series and with respect for the work of experts. We use archival fabrics from the biggest fashion houses, creating an ethical and conscious essence of slow fashion.
